Is Advance Wars.... Dead?

Could Advance Wars be dead? There are no more active members here and I haven't heard anything about another Advance Wars since DoR came out. Discuss here.

Not as dead as this forum. But yeah, AW is pretty much dead. It isn't popular in its home country, Days of Ruin didn't come out in said home country, and the only ROM hacks we've seen are minor edits and map packs.

Compared to Fire Emblem, there's plenty of ROM hacks for that game, plus a sequel is coming on the 3DS. I'd love to see AW get a sequel, but it just isn't likely at the moment.

Well, we still have Commander Wars and AWBW, at least.

Well, I have had trouble with Commander Wars and the ROM hacks, so I guess it's down to AWBW xD. I still play AW2 on my Nintendo Gamecube GBA Player, and I play almost all day. Got stuck on the Blue Moon Factory mission or Hard, though...

I think you guys get my point.
