AWDS help.

I need help with AWDS

1. I am trying to raise my CO ranks in AWDS. My problem is that I lack patients when level grinding. What I know so far, the best way to raise rank is go into the war room with bonus of 2.5x. Is there a better way?

2. I am on mission 24, "Surrounded," on hard campaign. I am unsure of how to win this. I am only asking this because the walk throughs expect certain CO's at a certain rank that I am not at.


Here is a list of my CO's rank if you need to know.

<10: Jake, Rachel, Max, Colin, Lash
=7: Sensei
=5: Grit, Sasha, Hawke,
=2: Kanbei, Jugger
=1: Eagle, Javier, Grimm
=0: Nell, Hachei, Olaf, Sami, Andy, Drake, Jess, Sonja, Adder, Flak, Koal, Kindle

Yeah, my ranks are shameful.

1) Muck Amok HC is the best way to level grind. Win by rout and you'll get 1200 EXP for each CO.

2) Use brokens.
God Kanbei (Direct defense +20 and Defense +10 on his partner, preferably Sonja) rocks with OS's beefy predeployed force. Hachi/Sensei probably works for BM, though I haven't played this game in ages, so my memory's pretty fuzzy.

You can also use the War Room for leveling up if you're already past Muck Amok. Jelly Island, Spann Island and Risky Duo are good for leveling up Sami and Eagle. Meanwhile, ANYONE can beat Final Battle very quickly - it's a very simple map. So much for the War Room finale eh?

Is there anyway to stay on Muck Amok without having to continue the campaign while keeping the exp.?

^ You save to a different file when it asks you to save, IE if your Muck Amok save is on file 1, save to file 2 whenever you clear Muck Amok.

Coincidentally I also recommend re-playing Tower of Rebirth and Crystal Calamity as well. The crystals give some decent EXP and you need to destroy Crystals and Obelisks for medals, too. Crystal Calamity is a hard-ass level, though, so it's up to you.

If you are talking about doing Crystal Calamity in normal mode, I can practically rout Black Hole. Almost did it in my second normal play through. XP

Money survival is also a great way to level up. Just build megatanks over and over, destroy all the minicannons on bad Pangea, really there's all kinds of ways to level up in survival mode.

I finally made it to Muck Amok in the hard campaign. Did the programmers overlook this level or something? I mean, why make a level that can give a +2 in rank for four COs? Then again, I am questioning the game that makes their final level a total let down.
