Anyways, they shouldn't tone down difficulty for ANY of the FE games, on ANY difficulty level. You know how ticked I was to find out FE9's Mainiac Mode was removed from the US release? Yeah.

Anyways it certainly looks as if Hard 5 has not been toned down because I CAN'T GET PAST CHAPTER 1 :\

Speaking of which, I got a challenge for the general public: Beat chapter 24 (On Normal, Hard 5 might be an impossibility) in 3 turns.

EDIT: Actually, the way I'm thinking, you might just be able to win in ONE TURN IF you are lucky.

I've already done it. In fact, with the correct strategy {Abuse tiki from the moment you get her, and use Lena's Hammene Staff to repair her Divinestone. She should be around lvl13-16 by the time you get to level 24. Have Merric or Lena warp Tiki in front of the boss, have her kill him, then have the other one warp marth onto the square and capture it. ONE TURN WIN! Although, there is a path through the mountains you can take to get your group down to the boss and kill him within three turns. I recommend abusing the arenas to get everyone up to level 20, promoted, then to level 20 again.

I abused arenas and now I'm rich - rich enough to forge a Javelin and shove it up the boss's ass while remaining just out of the Sniper's range.

How much gold you got? anywhere around my 350,000?

I didn't abuse THAT much, just enough for custom weapons to be cheap. Though I might abuse that much in my next run of the game...is there an arena anywhere after chapter 23?

I think 22/23 is the last arena of the game. there might be one in 24, but you know. I raced to beat the chapter and didn't check.

Wait. There's an arena in Chapter 22 or 23? I thought the last one was in Chapter 20.
